A hen party in Cork will be a lot of fun for hens that wish for the big city experience in a very beautiful location. Cork City is surrounded by water which provides its visitors with a beautiful view of the water. Hens that choose to have their hen weekend in this city can enjoy various water sports during the daytime too.

A hen party is a night before marriage, which is full of freedom and thrill. It is a night which celebrates the last day of single life. And, that is why this party is special for thebride-to-be and the other hens.

However, to make the night memorable there is a need to plan it properly and involve some wonderful activities in the hen party event. So, if you are seeking for hen party inspiration, here are the ideas to make it an awesome party night.

Activity for a Hen Party
A fun dance is also a great way to get in the mood for a fun-filled night on the town. What better way to get those booties shaking and those hips swaying to make sure that you and your hen party are the centre of attention.
So for a fun and unforgettable experience, not to mention original and unique, organise a dance for your hen party. Dance like there's nobody watching and laugh as you enjoy every moment.

Stand Out Hen Party at SOHO
For those that do not know, Cork possesses its own unique culture. In fact, hens that enjoy eating good food are in for a treat as this city is known for having its own local traditions.Aside from that, as a culturally diverse city, we are the multi-cultural restaurant in Cork. And that fancy French patisseries, Indian buffets, Thai or Chinese food, and more will enjoy spending time in this city.

The typical Irish Party includes the mother of the bride and the future mother-in-law. Irish parties vary in size but are usually made up of between 12 and 30 girls often wearing outlandish outfits. The peak time for Hen Parties in Ireland is between April and September. You will often see large Hen Party groups roaming the streets in the popular Hen Party towns

Play around with the theme
If memorable and unique is what you are looking for, stay away from the common stripper themes for hen parties. Instead, choose to be creative and come up with new themes that the bride knows nothing about. You make them enjoyable by going for colors that she loves and handling the little details in a special way. You can cut costs by crafting unique decorations to finish off the theme.

For a hen party to be different, you cannot afford to go to your usual girls' joint. Instead, you should change scenery and try something different for a change. For instance, instead of having the party at the bride's house or at your usual joint, you can try out Our fancy place with facilities that you will love to enjoy. It will help set the event apart from the rest, which in turn makes it truly memorable.

Restaurants and Pubs in Cork, Ireland

It is a great art to be able to order the right wine-meal pair for the occasion and doing it in the right way ensures a memorable and unforgettable dining occasion. Generally, the leather bound wine list looks daunting and confusing with the number of varieties of varying price tags and origins (countries). However, you need not panic as every good restaurant serving wine, trains their staff especially for serving wine at the table (the Sommelier); often considered the server to guide you out of this puzzle.

restaurant menu covers offer almost endless opportunities for creativity. Turned edge covers are constructed with all edged French turned with no stitching and is generally padded. These covers can be made with or without padding and are also available in an ultra thin style for a thinner, lighter cover. The frame style that works well for single page menus or wine lists with the menu page inserted into the cover and looks as though it is in a frame. Turned edge covers are available in single panel for a one page menu or multiple pages to accommodate up to 8 pages of menu.

With the restaurant menu covers there are many design options that can be implemented such as windows on the cover to frame a picture, photo or metal insert. Metal inserts are generally embossed copper or aluminum available in different finishes. Pictures or renderings can be laminated to the cover as well as foil stamping of designs, logos and establishment name can be added in single or multiple colors.

The bold menu, it displays a number of classic French dishes. Begin with warm a goat cheese salad comprising three aromatic chunks melted on grilled French bread set atop plentiful lettuce doused in vinegar and oil. Foie gras ravioli with port wine is a tender and melt-in-the-mouth sensation, and the perfect appetizer to stimulate the palate. Main courses at le Bouchon are surprisingly generous. A real treat, frog legs is fried in garlic and served with potatoes and sauteed vegetables, while lamb shank is a large cut of flavorful meat cooked to juicy perfection, topped with white bean sauce and surrounded by roasted potatoes and vegetables. There is a tempting range of traditional desserts that includes creme brulee covered with a very crispy layer of caramel over a rather fluffy vanilla-flavored custard. Mousse au chocolate is sinfully rich and served in a bowl made of edible waffle.

Best places to eat Cork - SoHo - Restaurant and Bar

SoHo offers a wide range of fantastic food and the best atmosphere for all sports.Best Bar Cork. SoHo Bar & Restaurant in Cork serving fresh, local food along with a wide range of Craft Beers, Wines & Spirits.

Menu covers are going to protect the menus from getting dirty or stained and make clean up simple and easy. When food gets on a menu that has a cover on it you can clean it off easily and in just seconds. Restaurant menu covers are a very important item simply because the customers are going to be holding the menus and will notice if anything is wrong. If you work in a higher scale bar or a restaurant that serves alcohol then making sure that you have a cover for you wine list is also important.

many restaurants the wine list is already on the table by the time the customer sits down and it will be something that a customer is going to notice while they are waiting for there food. A wine list cover is important for any restaurant that serves wine as it will help protect the wine menu from getting damaged and make sure that cleaning the menu is easy.

The traditional drink of the UK used to be beer, but now more and more people are drinking wine. our restaurant foods have a rightful place in the typically  tradition.

There is a healthy amount of fibre and fruits, while the fats are mainly of vegetable origin - above all monoleic acid that is found in extra virgin olive oil. The rest of the fats come from white meats and fish that are rich in the good, polyunsaturated variety: lamb, kid, mutton, lean pork, oily fish, molluscs and shellfish.

And the flavours, that have little to do with nutrients and calories, but make everything pleasing to the palate are entirely natural: wild oregano and fennel, garlic, bay leaves. Sardinian dishes are exquisite to eat and healthful to the whole body, especially the cardiovascular system.

If you own a restaurant then you know how chaotic it can be. Even if you work in one or even have just gone to a restaurant some time in your life then you know how messy things can get and fast.
The place was totally charming; quaint, serene , and clean. The dining area are large, there were many tables, but neither did it feel cramped. The owner sat contentedly at the bar while some lovely  women, some of them wait staff, and one with a child, lingered toward the front in quiet conversation. The menu, scribbled on a blackboard was entirely convenient but charming nonetheless. you studied it for about your time before ordering.

Salad is extremely difficult to pair with most wines because it has bitter flavors from the leafy greens and high acidity from the dressing. Bitterness is one of those traits that cannot be combined together (ie. bitter + bitter), it overwhelms the tongue's bitter sensors and masks other flavors. High acid foods will make a low acid wine taste flabby. For a salad with vinaigrette, a prosecco, like Riondo Prosecco or a demi-sec/extra-dry champagne will deliver lively and fruity flavors. Extra Dry is an interesting quandary, it is actually sweeter than brut, but don't complain to me about the mislabeling, go tell the French.

The Best Brunches and Breakfasts in Cork, Ireland – Soho

Soho bar andclub with dining, conference facilities and rooftop bar, spread over 4 floors. Drinking wine is a pleasurable experience. It leaves us relaxed, at ease, cheerful, and packed full of antioxidants. But, it doesn't come without its risks. While there is the risk of overindulgence, a hangover, or a Merlot stain on the brand new white carpet, there is also another risk that many of us don't think about. This is the risk of cork taint. With the ability to stand between our wine and our enjoyment, cork taint can really contaminate the drinking experience.

The outside of the restaurant dosent look great. It looks like a bar or nightclub which initially put us off given we had kids with us. The restaurant was recommended by staff at our hotel so we gave it a go. The menu selection was excellent and the food quality was excellent. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Cork taint is a term that refers to an undesirable taste or odor found in certain bottles of wine. While no one knows for sure what cork tastes like, with cork not being a hot item listed on the menus of fancy restaurants, a wine is labeled to have cork taint when it tastes a bit off. Some people describe wine with cork taint as tasting of must or of mildew while others describe it as tasting like damp newspapers

Just as is the case anywhere else, 5 star accommodations in Ireland are the fanciest and offer the highest levels of luxury. They are also usually the most expensive. Looking at the star rating of Irish hotels can be a good way to get an overall sense of the price range and features you would like to consider. You may, for instance, want to look for those in the 2 to 4 star range. Just because a star rating is low doesn't mean it cannot be an excellent hotel. The rating system mainly signifies how lavish it is rather than its quality.

If you want to catch a game there is not a better place than the Soho, especially if the game is showing on the Big Screen in the back of the bar with the 'fan's terrace' seating. There's always a good atmosphere and also good food. The bar offers a wide range of beers on tap and in bottles. Soho offers good bar foodat reasonable prices, and I have found the waiting staff to be excellent.

There is something magic about having a lazy Saturday of rugby too. You were a secret love affair with the upstairs nook in Soho. In there you will find an amazing couch that a group of 8 can easily chill out on. There is a screen just for you up there too. So if you want to avoid lots of chatty rugby fans maybe that could be your big escape. Also the menu in there is amazing, perfect for sharing. During last years fantasy rugby league this was our favourite spot allowing us to check our teams and chat without bugging people.

Now, the bar is downstairs but we all took turns making runs down to the bar to ensure You weren’t missing the game. With the toilets around the corner no one but your group will be bothered by your up and down during the match.

Eat out in Cork – Dinner at Soho Restaurant Cork

The rich and delectable French cuisine dates back to the Middle Ages, a time marked by lavish banquet, aristocratic menus and exotic dishes. Influenced by social and political upheaval, the French cuisine traversed through decades of culinary variance that eventually conferred it the title 'haute cuisine'

The Medieval French feast, ostentatious in nature, depicted elaborate banquets, opulent carte du jour, exotic spices imparting aromatic flavors and ornate presentation exhibiting the affluence of the host. The arrangement however remained at its elementary level---clay vessels, rustic plates, white tabletops, absence of forks, hand eating and chanting of prayer in reverence was the usual backdrop of this grand feasting----a remarkable juxtaposition in its own.

Combing foods is more than a culinary art, it's what we all do on a daily basis. There are many traditional foods that we have always combined, but actually without realizing it this can actually have adverse health effects. Much of what we eat comes from habit, as in what our parents fed us and those favorite dishes that we just latched onto as something we have to have time and time again. Very few people actually put much consideration into the health effects of what they eat. When we eat we are not so much interested in taking care of our bodies as merely getting rid of those hunger pains and exciting the taste buds.

Eating should always be an enjoyable and even sociable event, but it should actually give us energy, keep us strong, and move us forward, instead of slowing us down or making us feel bad. Many unpleasant feelings that sneak up on us after eating that nice meal, has to do with the types of foods we are combining.

The Benefits of Eating Fresh Oysters
The oyster, a much priced mollusk appears on menus all over the world. It's unique texture and flavor is unlike any other kind of seafood in the world. Different species are cultivated extensively throughout the world. The best oysters in Europe include the green Marenne in France, the Belon, and the English Whit sable. Most oysters are sold in their raw form, although some are frozen, tinned or bottled in fresh water.

Eating oysters can help in boosting the immune system. The vitamin C and E content, together with other minerals, contain anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties that protect the body against free radicals produced by cellular metabolism. These radicals can mutate the DNA of healthy cells into cancerous cells. Wherever they are lodged, they can also cause premature aging, heart disease and general body disrepair. These free radicals can be obliterated by anti-oxidants and vitamins found in oysters.

The amount of food does not necessarily matter if you are consuming the right stuff. You just need to be sure that the ingredients in your food will help you get closer to your goals and not ruin all your efforts in the gym. Thus, you need to see what portion of food will provide you what nutrient and is it good for your body. Spend some time reading the labels and it will bring in a huge change in your weight goals.

There are some versions that can just be available for your serving staff to reach in or you can have a cooler that can actually go anywhere and even blend in with the front of the house. Storing your beverages in a bottle cooler will free up your refrigerator for other food items. It can also move a lot of traffic away from servers who are waiting on menu items. You can set up your bottle cooler wherever you wish to make it more effective for you and your serving staff.
The little extras that complete the bar area include your napkins, straws and mixer sticks which can all be kept conveniently in a bar caddy. Bottle openers and cork extractors may seem like an expense you can do without until one day when you can't get that cork out of an expensive bottle of wine.

Creating a comfortable environment to serve your bar beverages, whether it's a pint, a cocktail or a bottle of vintage champagne, is where you can set the tone of your dining establishment or pub.
